Are you aware that WA leads the nation on phasing out single use plastics? It is the only state that has laws to ban the use of plastic coffee cups and lids, heavy weight plastic bags, produce bags and plastic takeaway containers.

Most of the rest of Australia also has already banned the use of plastic

Cutlery

Expanded polystyrene food containers

Plates and bowls.

Even if your state doesn’t ban the use of any of these items, please consider using an alternate. Hard to take a plate to a food hall or food truck but maybe just have your own cutlery. I dislike using wooden and bamboo cutlery as I find it is a mouth moisture sucking evil, I much prefer metal.
